Strategic Account / Sales Manager EMEA PHARMACEUTICAL / COLD CHAIN

We are currently working on behalf of an exciting business at the forefront of specialist Logistics, freight and distribution. Working with major Logistics and supply chain organisations they have strategic operations located worldwide and work with a growing portfolio of blue chip clients. These include companies in Logistics, Supply Chain, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Life Sciences
As part of their continuing growth, they are now seeking to strengthen their global team with the appointment of a Strategic Account / Regional Sales Manager in UK or mainland Europe. (Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium) The position will report at Director level and will be responsible for building the client portfolio across the EMEA region and managing and supporting partners with reference to training, quality and compliance procedures.
The role will require extensive travel both on a domestic and International basis and will be pivotal to the further expansion of the regional sectors. To apply for this unique opportunity, it is essential that you have previous experience gained within the pharmaceutical or life science sector, ideally gained with a logistics / freight service provider, air cargo operator or pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer or wholesaler or related provider of temperature controlled logistics transport.
You should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to build strong relationships to board level. You should also speak fluent English and have worked in an Globally led business. A second language will be highly beneficial, together with a good degree in a business, marketing or related discipline.
